Kia Ora - Greetings

We are the people who work with young people, aged 10-19, to help address their drug and/or alcohol use.

We work with the whole person, from the inside out.

And where the youth gives us permission, we work with their whanau/family as well.

Our service is totally confidential.

If you have any questions or concerns about your children using alcohol or other drugs, please contact us.

We assess the level and impact of drug use. We counsel to reduce and to stop.

We educate about the effect of drugs on the developing teenage brain and help young people understand why, at this critical stage in their life, they ought not to use drugs.

We see many of our secondary students at school, for their convenience, and other young people are seen at the WellTrust Offices.

We help parents and whanau make it easier for their child to get free of drugs.

We drug test to help teenagers stop using and to get back on top of their lives.

Did you know that, on our database, the average age for starting to use marijuana is 12 years. And that nationally, by sixteen, 15% of young people are problematic users?
